HO Layout Quick Photos from Sunday
Author: CSURAM

Had some fun taking photos over the weekend on our HO Layout.

1. Fire Engine looks both ways before crossing the busy main line tracks has he heads into old industrial Los Angeles

2. Couple blocks away a big rig heads out of town after making a delivery to the local packing house.

3.  Santa Fe all the Way...main line through Los Angeles as more buildings are added to this industrial area.

- Check out the slabs of beef hanging

-  Another look at the canyon with our track lighting.  It has a dimmer switch so we can play around with it, or just full lighting.

Thanks for looking.   Lucky to have a hobby my Dad, brother and nephews enjoy.

Fantastic layout and scenery. I like the track lighting and ability to be dimmed to change the mood completely.

Nice inspirational photo's.  I particularly liked the RR yard in behind the city scene - looks very typical of yards wedged behind buildings and next to ware houses etc.

Fantastic! That city area looks like a lot of fun to operate.

Can stuff actually roll on the really weedy track?

Agree with Jason.  The yard in the city is great.

I just noticed something I haven't seen in HO before, a gas meter on the outside of the building next to the 40' trailer!  Where do you get those?

Cheers, Jim Fitch

Thanks a lot guys.  Much appreciated.  We have a lot of fun and that's all that counts.

A close up shot of those slabs of beef when I was waiting for the glue to dry.  (Used bright red spray paint then white chalk/paint brush dipped in rubbing alcohol)

Dad bought those gas meeters from Caboose Hobbies made by Scale Structures ltd.  He found some nice details to add to buildings.

The weeds don't create any problems and the trains role just fine on those tracks.

We'll have to add a Phillipe's or a Cole's.  We do have Pop's Cafe.  Pop's was my great grandfather's tiny cafe in LA near the old Santee Dairy and now Santee High School just south of the 10 Fwy on Central.
