Wheels of Time Flatcars

I just picked up a couple new Southern Pacific bulkhead flatcars.  I remember them empty with boards hanging loose off the bulkheads and heavily laden with lumber during the last years of the SP.  These new cars look great and will fit in prefectly hauling lumber on my layout.  Athearn's old hard to find resin lumber loads fit with room to spare between bulkheads.  Time for some serious weathering!

The WOT builkheads and regular flat cars are very nice.  I've tossed an Athearn lumber on one last night and ran it around the layout - first time I've had trains completely around it as well.

I would like to see WOT offer their N-scale lumber load in HO for a bit of variety.  Those had the lumber evenly stacked on the ends and look very typical of many 1970's and 80's open loads.

Yes, I painted the coaches.  The decals are from Mircoscale.
