That was my first though upon seeing the first picture, then I realized it was a very well done layout.

For corrugated metal culverts, I've been using the same method for 50 years: heavy foil embossed by wrapping it around appropriately-sized course thread machine screws. I wonder how many $12.95's that's added up to over the years? EO Should have pointed this out to my wife when she saw the last credit card bill...
