Model Railroading > Behold thisDate: 06/28/16 18:04 Behold this Author: WrongWayMurphy They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Well, behold this !
I finished painting this today. It is 1.5" scale on 7.5" gauge track. GP7 model, 24 VDC powered. Cotton Belt had just one GP7 and it was a passenger geep delivered in Daylight colors. After passenger service ended it was regeared as a freight engine and received black widow dress. It rode out its career wearing a bloody nose. I never liked the silver wave on the nose (second pic attached) that the 304 wore so I painted mine like the SSW GP9's. Date: 06/28/16 18:17 Re: Behold this Author: Larry020 I think it looks great. The sunshade is a nice touch.

Date: 06/28/16 19:49 Re: Behold this Author: tomstp Oh he can afford more track. You see he pays for it in SWEAT in hot humid south east Texas. And, boy do you pay when laying track in the summer!
Very nice looking Shane. Date: 06/28/16 20:55 Re: Behold this Author: ChrisCampi Hey looks great! What do you use for paint, automotive?
