They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  Well, behold this !

I finished painting this today.  It is 1.5" scale on 7.5" gauge track.

GP7 model, 24 VDC powered.

Cotton Belt had just one GP7 and it was a passenger geep delivered in Daylight colors.
After passenger service ended it was regeared as a freight engine and received black widow dress.
It rode out its career wearing a bloody nose.

I never liked the silver wave on the nose (second pic attached) that the 304 wore so I painted mine like the SSW GP9's.

I think it looks great.  The sunshade is a nice touch.

Oh he can afford more track.  You see he pays for it in  SWEAT in hot humid south east Texas.  And, boy do you pay when laying track in the summer!

When they first came out, I painted an Atlas/Kato in the Daylight colors. Very pretty.
