Model Railroading > Tread plates for Athearn RTR SD40Date: 07/23/16 12:27 Tread plates for Athearn RTR SD40 Author: kecarden Do anyone make tread-plates walkway for the lack of tread plates walkway on the Athearn sd40?

###################### My bad, I read a -2 into the OP which is not there. While the Cannon SD40-2 lit will probably work on the shorter SD40 model it is going to take a bit of cutting on both ends from the steps and body ends to get things to fit. Edited 1 time(s). They also make walkway plates that will help.

In the meantime I used the Cannon step set for the Kato SD40 and Archer tread decals.
