Model Railroading > You never know what you'll findDate: 07/24/16 14:58 You never know what you'll find Author: wjpyper Bought a box of "junk" (Lionel track and stuff) at a garage sale Saturday. Got it home and started looking through it. Look what I found at the bottom of the box. A Lionel #248 Electric Locomotive, manufactured from 1924-1932, and a Pullman Car and an Observation Car to go with it. It's pretty rough, but I think I can clean it up and get it running and either display it or sell it.

I am going to try to remake the plastic part using my son-in-law's 3D printer. I had three of these come into my store from a customer and we had a very hard time selling them as he had repainted them. The collectors want original.
