Model Railroading > This old house, or, Gone but not forgottenDate: 08/27/16 07:26 This old house, or, Gone but not forgotten Author: WrongWayMurphy A friend of mine in the DFW area just took down his FW&D themed layout,
based on the Burlington subsidiary Fort Worth & Denver between Wichita Falls and Fort Worth, TX. Here is my freight train near Alvord, TX during the last ever operating session last month. Its sad to see a fine operating layout close its doors for good. Date: 08/27/16 08:06 Re: This old house, or, Gone but not forgotten Author: tomstp Any more pictures?

Pic 1 - overall view of half of the double decked layout - other half, and three more operators, to the right in this photo. Two of the four guys in this photo railroad for a living. Pic 2 - Another F-unit lead freight at Decatur, TX Pic 3 - Bellevue, TX rock crusher. Accidents will happen, and operator takes the heat after run session complete. Edited 1 time(s).
