Author: funnelfan Can someone recommend a good speaker for the Athearn SP MT-4 that has great sound and fits? I bought mine as a straight DC model and plan to add a TCS Wow sound version 4 decoder.

Author: fbe All the recent Athearn/Genesis locomotives I have seen are built for sound. This includes a location to securely mount a speaker in a metal housing. It seems like 1" is a common size. The exploded parts diagram in the instructions will give you an idea of what you are facing. Sunset Junction has an assortment of quality speakers one probably in the size you need.
