Model Railroading > BN Triclops at nightDate: 09/24/16 21:45 BN Triclops at night Author: pmack I took the photo of 1403/ BN9212 Christmas last year at Balmer Yard in Seattle, WA. I've always liked visiting there at night and the challenges the photography at night present. Today, I tried to duplicate the shot in miniature with 9228 and I think it came out pretty well. I couldn't pull the rain off. Actually, I didn't even try.
You would laugh if you saw what I used to light the model shot. I used three locomotives equiped with LED headlights and ditchlights. For the sodium vapor street lights I used 4 more LEDs with lighting gels to get the vapor look. Date: 09/24/16 23:18 Re: BN Triclops at night Author: MrMRL Wooo! Paul, that's some serious model eye candy there! The top pic (HO scene) could fool even trained experts of pixel manipulation and over identification. Thanks for uploading the pic! I'd vote it's about time for a model to grace the homepage of Trainorders as has been the case on rare occasions in the past. IOTD vote from me!

I looked at the pics before reading your captions, and I thought I was looking at two prototype photos. Well done!
