Model Railroading > Upgrading a 1997 MTH Big BoyDate: 10/15/16 05:51 Upgrading a 1997 MTH Big Boy Author: WauhopM I have a Premier line big boy from 1997, while it still runs great the sounds on it died a while back-does anyone do conversions from QS1 (which it has) to Protosound 3. I dont have the money to buy a new one right now and If i could have it upgraded I would probably be just as satisfied.

Why not contact them and ask for help solving your problem. By the way, in two weeks he and his staff will be at the TCA York Train meet in York, PA. If you are a TCA member and are near the York area you might want to stop and talk with them. They are located in the Orange Hall along with all the other Train Manufacturers. Good luck.
