Model Railroading > A Locomotive Shell Removal Instruction Page Already ExistsDate: 01/08/17 07:08 A Locomotive Shell Removal Instruction Page Already Exists Author: Larry020 There is an excellent resource online with step by step instructions, and pictures.
http://www.tcsdcc.com/Customer_Content/Installation_Pictures/HO_Scale/HO_Search/search.html At the TCS DCC website there are instructions on how to install their decoders in a wide variety of locomotives. The first photo shows the locomotive so that you are sure it's the proper locomotive. Then they show you how to remove the shell. They always recommend one of their decoders, it is their website after all. If for some bizarre reason you don't happen to model in HO Scale, on the left side of the page click on Installations. A menu will appear with a bunch of different scales. Pick one that matches your bizarre scale. Hope This Helps Larry Post Script If you think I'm connected with TCS, you don't know me very well.
