Narrow Gauge and Short Line Gazette - New Publisher
Author: UPJeff

Appears that the Narrow Gauge and Shortline Gazette was sold of to White River Productions.  Hopefully the content will remain the same.  From an email I received earlier today:

Bob Brown, editor of the Gazette for over 40 years, said "Irene and I are now in our mid-80s and are concerned about the magazine's future. We are both healthy, and still want to produce the Gazette. We also owe magazines to a lot of subscribers, and we want to see the Gazette continue, so WRP was the logical choice." Bob will continue to edit the magazine, so there should be little difference in the Gazette going forward. Irene Brown, Benchmark Publications' business manager, plans to gradually retire after some 35 years of day-to-day running the magazine, but will continue to proofread as needed.

Glad to see WRP has taken on some.of these publications. They might have become a thing of the past had they not.

WRP has done a good job improving the production quality of the former Carstens mags.

Excellent news for NGSL Gazette. If the people at WRP do for it as they have done for the Carstens Magazines, all the historical society magazines they publish, the books that they publish and every publication they have touched, subscribers are in EXCELLENT hands.
