Model Railroading > Lettering Removal Stewart FTsDate: 01/19/17 11:19 Lettering Removal Stewart FTs Author: Casselton I have several GN Stewart FTs. While the lettering and paint on this Stewart models is far better than earlier Stewart/Kato F units, I would like to remove the lettering and replace with Microscale Decals. Has anyone tried to remove lettering from Stewart FTs. I thought I would ask before accidentally ruining the paint job.
Thanks - Mark Casselton Date: 01/20/17 08:32 Re: Lettering Removal Stewart FTs Author: BAB Ok got one for you, have a set of FTs ABBA wanted to power one of the B units, got one off of ebay. The main frame is diffrent than what I have also the speed is totaly diffrent than my A units all were DCC ready. Is this gearing diffrent than my original units, by the way they are GN units?
Ok update, has the wrong motor in it as gearing is all the same. Called Bowser very nice person put up with my questions and told me that I got an old unit now the problems start as there have been five diffrent ones since that one installed. ------------------------------------------------------- > I have several GN Stewart FTs.
