Scratch built HO scale mill.

Scratch built HO scale Sixes Mill. Prototype is located in Holly Springs GA and was built around the mid 1800's. The model is lighted and the water wheel powered.

Work of art for sure.Get your models to the narrow gauge convention in Denver in Sept.They would be very well received in the contest room.

The shingles are Bar Mills.

I sure will Mark. Here is the prototype that I saw framed hanging on the wall at my dentist office and thought it would be neat to build.

I found every photo online that I could and made rough measurements using photoshop and a micrometer.

Ist pic show how I stained and then distressed all the exterior boards
2nd pic before any battens were added.
3rd, starting to take shape

Window panes were cut using real .0015 glass from Ngineering and the window jambs were scratch buit but the sashes were cut from Grandt line windows.
