I second JMRI DecoderPro 3.  I've got it running on my Macbook in conjunction with a Digitrax PR3 to program locomotives as well as monitor/drive LocoNET at times.  JMRI is also free to download and pretty easy to use.

Yes it is free but please make a donation from time to time. These folks do incur costs. Even 5 dollars is fine.
