Passenger Trains > Zephyr Special To FRC At Hearst Friday 10/30/09Date: 10/30/09 12:44 Zephyr Special To FRC At Hearst Friday 10/30/09 Author: norm1153 Short video of the Special 3-car ex-Zephyr train from Oakland to Portola. Departed Oakland, CA at approx. 7:50 AM, via Niles Canyon, and Altamont Pass. At about 8:50 AM with a bright, sunny day at Hearst, I had to shoot going away to avoid the sun. Anyway, it's a pretty extraordinary train, and I hope you enjoy this little clip.

That may appear to be a naive question for some, but I would really like to know.

The best place would probably be to keep an eye on these websites: http://www.calzephyrrailcar.com/ or: http://www.trainsunlimitedtours.com/ Date: 10/31/09 16:33 Re: Zephyr Special To FRC At Hearst Friday 10/30/09 Author: sfericsf Date: 10/31/09 21:37 Re: Zephyr Special To FRC At Hearst Friday 10/30/09 Author: jimatsolana Could this be the same Zephyr that I used to see every day passing by the back of a foundry in Plano, IL that I worked in during the summer of 1952?
