On Saturday, July 22, Amtrak #6 will have private cars Silver Iris, Silver Rapids, Silver Lariat and Silver Solarium on the rear travelling to Denver, CO arriving Denver on July 23.

Cars will depart Denver and return to Oakland on train #5 (via Wyoming) on July 25 with arrival in Oakland on July 26.

We would love to see some photos of the cars!

I think this train has AMTK510 in the consist. Any idea if it is leading? If so I just might have to get some audio.

Hey, in case you photo foamers do not realize this, you have four matched cars from the original California Zephyr all on the back end. A rare opportunity indeed.

Anybody got a helicopter? We had a helicopter following us through the mountains with just the Silver Solarium in tow. Now you have four! What a rare opportunity.

Been there, done that.
