Maryland light rail reopens between Hunt Valley and McCormick Road

The Maryland Transit Administration reopened light rail service between the Hunt Valley and McCormick Road stops. Service had been shut down since August 30 so that needed track repairs could be completed at three grade crossings, and a Light Rail Shuttle Bus had been provided for patrons using the McCormick Road, Pepper Road and Hunt Valley stops.

The new Penn-Camden Shuttle, which started August 26, now eliminates the need to change trains between Penn Station and Camden Yards. Penn-Camden Shuttles will run every 20-30 minutes during morning and evening rush hours, and every 30 minutes during non-rush hour periods and on weekends.
