Tuesday, September 16
At Niagara Falls 3:00 am
GMA anchors and crew prep-work Broadcast operations begin

Depart Niagara Falls 4:30 am

Arrive Whirlpool Bridge 7:20 am
Train will stop in the middle of the Whirlpool Bridge. One set of doors will open on one coach in the middle of consist. Anchors exit the train on the north side of the Bridge and wave to the helicopters filming overhead. The anchors will walk down the steps at the end of the Bridge to street level where they will board awaiting vehicles for transport to the Niagara Falls State Park for the remainder of the broadcast.
 
Depart Whirlpool Bridge 7:45 am Once passengers have cleared the area, equipment will back to the wye to turn and return to Niagara Falls until the end of the broadcast.

Depart Carson Road Broadcast operations begin

Arrive YG 21.9 5:00 am Automatic signal, stop 200 yards north of signal 21.9
Depart YG 21.9 7:00 am As directed by GMA Director
Depart Mann Rd 7:01 am MP 22.3 (On air from train at 10 MPH passing over Mann Rd)

Operate at 10 MPH for 10 seconds, then 26 MPH to signal 28.9
Arrive Lipps Farm 7:17 am Signal 28.9
Charter will stop behind the Lipps Farm.
Anchors, crew, and guest will detrain.
Equipment will remain parked until the end of the broadcast.

Note: Norfolk Southern Genset engine will be spotted just south of Signal 28.9 at the Lipps Farm prior to the arrival of the GMA Special.

Upon arrival, GMA anchors and crew will detrain.
Anchors will exit the elevated rail steps built for this purpose. At the end of the broadcast, anchors will walk up the same steps and reboard to wave good-bye from the rear platform of Private car, Pennsylvania 120.

Train will back into station track 16.
Train will be greeted by Amtrak Officials and uniformed employees.
Arrival and activities at Washington Union Station will be taped for broadcast on the Friday edition of Good Morning America.

Charter equipment to be moved to Ivy City Yard for disassembly.

Whistle Stops are open to the public and are advertised.

This train terminates Friday in Wash DC.
Next leg to the Carolinas in a ??1960?? VW Bus that is so weighed down looks very funny/
