Quite a few cars there, incl Via Roomette, MoPac Xvision caboose, and 5 to 10 other pass cars. Anyone know who owns the facility, and do they have a website? Date: 02/13/09 06:18 Re: Question about PV facility in Salinas, CA Author: Topfuel The facility is operated by the guy who owns the Amtrak-certified ex-Santa Fe Pleasure Dome car "Plaza Santa Fe" and the ex-Rio Grande lunch counter lounge "Royal Gorge". He has been leasing the space from the property owners for many years. There are some other car owners that lease track space there from him and he also does contract work on other private cars. I also understand that in the last few years he may have purchased a small parcel of land adajcent to that location that has enabled some additional track to be added.
