The heavyweight business car in question is a former Union Pacific office car, built by Pullman in 1914, certified for mainline operation on Amtrak & Via Rail Canada. PPCX 800188. It is owned by a retired US Navy Chief Petty Officer and his wife. From time to time, they provide the use of their private car to support Navy or Navy-related events.

They have it for student engineers who pis their air away When they can't stop the Navy throws out an anchor.

Nice car, wonder what the USN does with it?

Suprised the FRA/Amtrak would allow it, because the markers on the rear can't be both red due to naval regs. The rear marker on the right-hand side is green and the left-hand marker is red.

It's 'Navy blue', preventing it from going to Orange Bowl....!

Someone oughta write a script for "NCIS" involving this car.
