Passenger Trains > Saratoga & North Creek BL-2Date: 09/02/11 11:21 Saratoga & North Creek BL-2 Author: railwaybaron I am thinking about a trip to the S&NC (no, not the Seattle & North Coast of fond memory) during the first week of October. Are the trains normally pulled by their BL-2 or their E-8? I would go out of my way for an operating BL-2, but I have plenty of shots of their E-8 in Arizona Eastern paint. Of course if the E-8 is now in S&NC paint that would be interesting as well. Thanks in advance.

The last time I was on it it was running like a top... really sounded great. At one time they were running one direction by steam and the BL-2 would pull the traain back the other way. Recently they were using the CF-7.
