Passenger Trains > Amtrak 40th Anniversay at Portland Union Station this wDate: 10/27/11 13:54 Amtrak 40th Anniversay at Portland Union Station this w Author: Sedaker Portland Union Station will be celebrating Amtrak's 40th Anniversay on Saturday October 29 and Sunday October 30, from 10 am to 4 pm each day. Please come on by this weekend to enjoy the special Exhibit Train that Amtrak will have on display, as well as various train and travel related exhibits and activities. The various volunteer groups in the greater Portland and Oregon area will have tables and exhibits: ORHF, Operation Lifesaver, The Friends of SP 4449, the Friends of OR&N 197, PRPA, the PNW Chapter of the NRHS, AORTA, the Pioneer Restoration Organization and many other local groups. Bring the kids along, as there will be fun and activities for them as well!
