Author: aussiehinz Today's #449 (#49 minus the south of Albany passengers), the "Lake Shore Limited," arrived in Chicago with relatively clean "Heritage" P-42 #156 on the point. I managed a couple views of it as the train turned in front of "MH," then ambled on over to 18th Street for a few more, as the move was momentarily held for a Metra inbound train before proceeding toward the wash track. For those interested to the west, I've also included pix of today's #5 and #3, both on time and devoid of any unusual consist abberations, as they passed "MH" this afternoon.
Cheers, aussiehinz 1. #449 turning @ "MH"... November 7, 2012 2. #449 waits for the signal at 16th Street... November 7, 2012 3. #449, passing under the 18th Street overpass... Judging from all the different ground shots, he must be responsible for hooping up orders and giving roll-bys in several spots!!
