Nor'easter affect on rail operations
Author: twropr

A quick noon check of the NEC and Harrisburg line trains on the Dixieland Amtrak status site shows no unusual delays NY-WAS or PHI-HAR and very minor delay on the trains between NY and BOS. Is the snow causing any delays on the commuter roads?

I'd be very surprised if it is since it is not cold enough for the snow to stick around, and it was not a huge amount of it anyway, ... in general less than a foot, and substantially so in many cases.

The bigger problem would have been the wind gusts toppling already weakened trees weighed down with heavy moist snow, and the damage from that would have mostly taken place last night, nit this morning.
