Since Train 11, which I assume will become todays Train 14, is almost 11 hours late how can they turn it in time to head north again this morning?

11(16) arrived LAX 8:10 am.

On a weekend there isn't as much Metrolink activity. Train can be
turned on the platform. Takes about five hours.

What was the delay?

I'd guess they've already made up a replacement train. As of a couple of days ago there was a PPC sitting in the yard. I've never seen them turn the train on the platform. Always goes to the yard for inspection, cleaning, watering, pumping, and reprovisioning.

Train 14 should be on time today out of LAX. An extra trainset was assembled in 8th st last night.

The makeup of #14 today should "look" just like what we have grown to expect from #11/14. Even a Parlour Car. I guess that the late #11 that arrived this AM didn't have a Parlour Car and had a regular Lounge Car subbing for it. For what ever reason, the Parlour Car that should have been on the #11 is ready to go today. I don't know where the cars came from but the above posts give good places.

But will there be a 'good' 'expresso machine'?

How many of us will be riding this train today, or this month?
