Just noticed Caltrans spelled San Luis Obispo "San Luis Obisbo". At least it wasn't spelled "San Louis Obisbo"...

Good news - nothing unexpected. The order for California and Midwest Corridor cars moves on to the contract stage.

I'm looking forward to seeing what these cars will actually look like.

I realize they will be similar to the current Surfliner cars; but not exactly, as they will be built by a different builder.

Since I like the Surfliner cars very much, I'd be thrilled if they are a better version of these cars.
