When will Amtrak ever tighten-up #20's run from at least Atlanta to NYP? Geez.

If they tightened it up, it could actually act as a spare trainset for those LD trains that may run into last minute troubles getting out of Sunnyside Yard. And Amtrak has had do this in the past with #20's passenger cars........

Coupled with that, it may be so much more helpful if the Lake Shore Limited left NY Penn Station at 4:15 or one of its old deparure times at 4:35 p.m. This is still in your pre-rush hour, but bordering close to it. But this was achieved as late as 2001/2002.

How much time would you have to shave off Atlanta NY in order to free up a train set?
