California Zephyr and Salt Lake City

Does anyone know what is going on at Salt Lake City?? The last 2 Zephyrs (West to East) have gone in on time and come out 2+ hours late.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Yesterday (12/15) they had an issue with the baggage car... Something about the HEP junction box having an issue and the car was moved to the rear of the train. Not sure whats going on today (the 16th)...

It took 2 hours to move a car from "first" to "Last"? Did they do it by hand?

The Amtrak iPhone app says that #6 did not arrive SLC on time on 15, 16, or 17 December. and that
the dwell time in the station on each day was near the "normal" 30 minutes. So perhaps the delays were due to
a mechanical or track problem enroute between Elko and Salt Lake?
