Passenger Trains > Amtrak train 943 or the BNSF O TOPLAJ 0 1-10A

Despite today's weather being crappy, it wasn't enough to keep me from catching AMTK 156 and it's consist in Topeka. After dropping my railfan partner at his daycare, I stopped at the AMTK/BNSF depot hoping to get some shots of the train at the station and from there, I hoped to get it crossing over 45th St but, that part didn't pan out and ended up catching it across from White Lakes mall.

DESPITE THE WEATHER ... NICE PHOTOS

Nice shot down by the old mall, Charlie! That mean ol' weatherman never eased up on us the rest of the day either...

The weatherman was pretty mean. I managed to muck up my tripod at the depot. We need to get a better weatherperson ;). Across from the mall is always a good spot for photo opportunities.

Remember when we had Katie Morgan on NBC here? Yeah, SHE was a weatherwoman(?)! Now she's in Cinci, and I here her on the radio (am 700) when I'm driving through OH.

I do remember her and I do miss her as well. WIBW also had a weather person and she's gone as well.
