San Joaquin detour over BNSF Richmond to Port Chicago

A few pictures of the detour of San Joaquin's 716 and 713 over the BNSF between Richmond CA and Port Chicago CA.

1) 716 Coming off the ramp off the UP at Regata Drive Richmond.

2) 716 at Christie.

3) 713 at Vine Hill.

Several days or more due to trackwork on the UP Mococo line.

Note that the detour is between Stege (Richmond) and Port Chicago.

The nearest Amtrak stations are Emeryville and Antioch, but on the basis of the trains'
actual running times yesterday, don't count on riding the detours both ways. Train
716 arrived at Antioch AFTER Train 713 had departed, so it missed that "connection."
