Passenger Trains > Amtrak City Sprinter Locomotive 602

I received an invite for a photo event today at the Siemens manufacturing facility being held today. Locomotive 602 will be rolled out with some "Special graphics" applied to it. I do not know what the graphics are, nor will I be able to make the event. Keep your eyes open, as I am sure 602 will be Pueblo bound very soon.

Sounds like fun....it was reported here earlier that of the first three locomotives (600-602), two would go to AAR in Pueblo and one directly to Wilmington. The 600 and 601 are in CO already. Are you sure the 602 is headed there as well?

no, it is only my opinion this unit will go to Pueblo.

This one is supposed to go to Wilmington and New Haven for testing and maintenance employee familiarization. Since the UP route across the Sierra's is currently shut down for tie replacement work, the move likely till take place sometime after the California Zephyr west of Reno begins operating again.
