#5 (28) departed Naperville, IL today w/ one of the rebuilt ex-NJT coaches for CA right behind the engines.

That will be the seventh one delivered. Halfway there! All 3 NPCUs and all 3 Horizon dinettes have already been delivered.

The first full low-level set has been in regular service for a week now on trains 718/711.

Did anyone (or can anyone) catch the number and name of this Comet IB coach?

Also, by my notes this will be the sixth coach delivered. I have the last delivery as CDTX 5011 "San Diegan". Did I miss one?

Looks like you missed one somewhere. There are currently 5 Comet coaches in service on trains 718/711, and a sixth in Oakland's coachyard that arrived last week, I think.
