Nice stuff, Chris. I'll bet that platform is a blast on a wintry night/morning as well. I guess the 'art' took precidence over practical structures.

Kinda reminds me of the 'art' out on the Westside Line up in Portland, with the metal table and all of the heads on it!

It's a stretch to suggest that the cost of station art would have been anywhere near the cost of structures.

I happen to think the artwork is a nice touch and adds some visual interest to what would otherwise be a plain station.

I'm still puzzled about why Amtrak wasn't included in the new transit hub buildings directly north of here that house Greyhound and the UTA FrontRunner station.
