Passenger Trains > Not Something You See Every DayDate: 04/13/14 18:58 Not Something You See Every Day Author: CP_M260 ...an F40PH leading a revenue passenger train, that is.
On 4/10, AMTK 311 was combined with Amtrak's display train at St. Louis, for the trip to Kansas City, and eventually, Topeka, KS. The train arrived at Lee's Summit, MO over an hour late, due to continued issues with the flood damage near Warrensburg, MO. The F40, or NPCU, sure looked sharp rolling into the station. This is likely the longest passenger train to roll through Lee's Summit, except the sparce UP business special, since the early Amtrak days at a total of 9 cars and 3 locomotives. 1-3. AMTK 406 leads train 311 into the station stop at Lee's Summit, MO - MP 260 UP Sedalia Subdivision Thanks for looking, -Dalton Date: 04/13/14 19:43 Re: Not Something You See Every Day Author: AndyBrown Yep that's pretty cool!
