so much for that new padding for No. 8!

That hasn't kicked in yet. The first train arrives into Chicago tomorrow. Today's arrival into CHI is currently 6hrs and 35min down. Tomorrow's with the new padding is currently 51 minutes late out of Minot, ND.

EB from April 15 Seattle departure is 2:44 late out of MSP. However there was an 8"-12" snowfall north and west of Twin Cities last night.

EB from April 16 is 10 minutes late at Havre.

Curiously Amtrak still shows a 1:40 departure from Seattle. I thought it was supposed to be a 4:40 departure starting April 15?

1:40 would be the new time starting April 15, 3 hours earlier than the regular time. It has been 4:40 pm up to now.

OOOPS; sorry my bad math, LOL

Still, I don't see it working once No. 8 hits CP Track, I'm also surprised No. 7 hasn't had that much of a problem leaving Chi Town!
