Passenger Trains > Any tips for my trip?Date: 04/23/14 17:04 Any tips for my trip? Author: RetiredGal9 On Thursday 4-24 I zoom off to Springfield, Illinois to see the Abraham Lincoln sites. Using AGR points (Yippee!) Coast Starlight to Texas Eagle, then Lincoln Service and Builder home to Seattle. Since this is my first time on the Eagle & Lincoln, will appreciate any advise on "not to miss" sites along the way.

Your train will pass so close to Mexico that you'll feel that you can almost touch it. Have your camera ready. Enjoy your trip! Yep, the longer the ride, the better IF we are moving. Sitting still is the pits.
