Passenger Trains > Heads Up on big #49Date: 08/20/14 17:34 Heads Up on big #49 Author: twropr When #49 passed the DED at Palatine Bridge, NY on TK 2, the detector reported 80 axles. That's 17 cars if he has three engines or 17 with two. Will look forward to a report from anyone who sees the train.

They are destined to Whitefish, Montana, and then on to Portland, then home to LA. fifth car Silver Splendor, was added at Albany.

Saw those cars on No. 3 a few days later and No. 3 only had 2 since the 3RD they cut off at ABQ!
