1. Taken from North Evans, NY on the Nickel Plate. Couldn't have asked for better light! 2. Taken from Letchworth State Park in Portageville, NY on the Southern Tier Line. If only the sun could have been a little further back in the sky, but oh well, we can't control the angle of the sun! It was a great day anyway! Special thanks to everyone here on TO who kept me and all of us posted on this train's progress. Hope it's another great ride today! Questions/Comments Welcome. There were a few railfans but none of them posted on boards like this. There was also a couple reporters from a local newspaper in the area and just folks wondering what was going on!

It won't be traveling on the same route it did eastbound, which includes that spectacular bridge. Westbound, it will be using the route used by Amtrak's LAKE SHORE LIMITED.
