Andy Date: 10/17/14 07:38 Re: 48 today Author: GenePoon I remembered to look at the Chesterton webcam last night (West only; East seems
to be in a STATE OF GOOD REPAIR) and was pleased to see Train 48 passing about an hour after departure from Chicago...which is about what it does when on time. Track-A-Train, however, was showing Train 30 still in Chicago Union Station at zero mph at the same time when it was supposed to be approaching South Bend. Edited 1 time(s). Unless all the track work activity along the NS has been completed -- which is doubtful -- NS has demonstrated that moving Amtrak's trains alonover its tracks reasonably close to schedule CAN BE DONE !! It took a "DO IT, DAMNIT!!" from the CEO (who had to be waked up by thy STB) but they did it. Fritz in HSV, AL Date: 10/17/14 08:25 Re: 48 today Author: Ptolemy navy5717th Wrote:
