Saw quite a few people out this morning in various places as they were leaving. Doubt many are on here.

My serious budding railfans...they were anticipating having people to wave to...

Would it be correct to expect that the train is run around, not wyed, at Hinton?

I have chased it in the past and it is a lot of driving for only a couple of shots. Best I've done is 4 times eastbound and I usually wait for it to return to Thurmond but sun is usually down or nearly so by then. It is a great ride especially in non Amtrak equipment. Bridge day is worth a visit as well.
It was my first real train ride and a lot of good memories.
