He should take the KCS. Direct competition with CN and
virtually no overlapping routes.

He might not like that, though, because there would be
very little track he could tear out.

KCS would certainly be a logical fit with CP and most likely to pass regulatory muster.

Currently he is busy selling more than half of the old D&H to NS.
