San Joaquin Trains 701, 702 and 703: Track Work Affects Service at Lodi

Effective October 19, 20, 26 and 27, 2014
Due to track work being performed by Union Pacific Railroad the San Joaquin Trains 701, 702 and 703 will not stop at Lodi on the dates indicated below. Passengers traveling to or from Lodi on these dates are encouraged to make reservations for travel aboard other San Joaquin trains.

October 19 and 26
Train 703 will not stop at Lodi on Sundays, October 19 and October 26

October 20 and 27
Trains 701 and 702 will not stop at Lodi on Mondays, October 20 and 27

backs onto WP, and runs forward the
rest of the way?

Too bad they couldn't find a street and/or bus connection at Thornton. Oh well??

The UP is replacing two bridges at Forest Lake (a mile south of Galt). Several 20 hour work windows are being used to accomplish this work.
