Oh, if that were the ONLY delay.

Not likely there is enough padding to make that up! Maybe everyone will just think it's 7(27) arriving early when it gets to Seattle, that is, if it's less than 24 hours late.

What happened to it. Looks like it just kept loosing time all along the way. To answer that I might be a laundry list of problems.

It's a sad situation - especially in light of the performance lately by the CZ. Granted, there is padding in the schedule, but coming in early is still something that *should* have been remarked upon.

8 was 11+ hours late yesterday (this morning).

It would seem like BNSF is trying to get freight & construction completed before winter sets in. I can't blame them in theory, but in practice, if that *is* their decision, they should have made some kind of accommodation for the Builder. That there hadn't been a remark upon the lateness save this thread (on this forum anyway), is disturbing in that it has become the usual rather than the unusual (for the Builder to be massively delayed).

wonder how much of this is crews DOL? ( Amtrak as well as BNSF )
