Amtrak train 11, the venerable Coast Starlight, crosses the Santa Ynez River at Surf this afternoon.

That is nice light and a nice photo. The wide angle even enhances the normal "flat face" appearance of the Amtrak locomotive by giving it a more than normal slanted look.

The "venerable" Coast Starlight is certainly a glowing adjective for the "Coast Stoplight"... I still miss JV's posts that always began, "Starlight circling the drain once again"; however your super-wide angle shot is excellent-- thanks for sharing.

Enjoy your drone shots while you can. Latest thing from Homeland Security is to keep an eye out for drones carrying explosives...

Well that's very troubling if the homeland security folks are only now starting to watch for drones equipped with explosives.

I would have thought they started watching for that years ago.

Would this warning not affect RC planes and helicopters too? Or on the lighter side, any diners leaving a Mexican restaurant.
