Hey you gotta admit it wasn't easy if it went 7 games guys!

As a life long Royals fan who was at every game this postseason,
this hurts right now but my congrats to the Giants on their third
title in five years.

With the victory parade scheduled for Friday in SF, I strongly suggest that unless you have to be there for work, to just stay away. This is especially true if you take public transportation. It was crazy the last two times, just masses of people. Even with a rain forecast Friday morning, it will still be crazy. They estimate 1 million showed up in the area for the 2012 parade.

Was disappointed in the outcome, but with 2 outs, bottom of 9th & the tying run @ 3rd base in the 7th game, no one can say it wasn't a thrilling finish.

San Francisco may be in the baseball lime light now, but NOBODY (especially Chicago) beats KC for Bar-B-Q, the Plaza or TRAINS....... NOBODY!! Congrats to the Royals for even being there. The next baseball season starts TODAY!!

The Giants aren't chartering a train for their triumphant return?

As I recall, the last time the Large People won the series, SF Muni kept all of the vintage streetcars that would otherwise be running on the "F" line in their yard. As it turned out, some hooligans did nearly destroy a Muni diesel bus.

Well, for this Giants fan, this one may be the biggest victory of all. I'm still suffering over game 7 of the '62 Series, when the Giants were defeated at home. Then to get swept AND all shook up in 1989...it was only because of the quake that I didn't feel more humiliation....which only worsened in the collapse of 2002. So, this Series represents vindication for all those painful losses to me. The entire organization contributed to this huge and improbable victory. And, maybe what confirms this as the greatest victory of all for the Giants are all the records that were set or established during this run. AA

Just hadda burn on our parade, did you? Sad fact is, any sports championship in recent memory has resulted in this sort of misbehavior....which is a real blight on these wonderful occasions. What is your point, if any, about this particular outrage? It happens everywhere championships are won, and so is not a bad mark on any particular community. AA
