Looks like the Amtrak part of the consist is backwards from normal? Date: 12/15/14 11:49 Re: Backwards? Author: retcsxcfm NewRiverGeorge Wrote:

Currently the consist is 3 or 4 coaches, cafe, diner three sleepers, baggage. It is not backward.Just rode it last Friday. Uncle Joe,Seffner,Fl. In Denver for the day. Date: 12/15/14 11:56 Fun on the Ullman Author: NewRiverGeorge Didn't know any trains other than the Lakeshore ran with a baggage car on the rear (it has two of them). Must make for a lot of double spots and/or inconvenient luggage handling. Enjoy your trip on the Ullman Joe!

Finally back from the mainland and catching up on things -- did not get the engine numbers. The consist is the one I have been experiencing for months now. The baggage on the rear does not seem to present any problems where I have viewed it -- Delray Beach is not a baggage location (in fact, it is a minimalist stop, and requires a second stop [none today] if there are any sleeper passengers.
