Passenger Trains > Caltrain Problems Tonight???Date: 12/19/14 20:29 Caltrain Problems Tonight??? Author: TrainRyder Tonight I heard a train directed to drop their passengers at Sunnyvale, then push to Lawrence for passenger pickup. A while later mention of a bus bridge, even later mention of about 40 passengers waiting for the bus bridge - followed later by about 100 waiting. Also heard questions about those passengers needing to get to Gilroy. In the past when there has been a trespasser incident they have just backed up trains and did single tracking. Could have something gone to ground?????

Later I saw another train holding at MV. Terrible when that happens... it takes a nasty toll on the engineer. Date: 12/20/14 10:36 Re: Caltrain Problems Tonight??? Author: CPCoyote ecweaver Wrote:

Having been there more than a few times during my career, it does take a toll. No fun for the conductor either who needs to walk back and view the remains. Posted from iPhone |
