I don't understand why Amtrak has never been mentioned in all the media I've seen and heard. Metrolink does not employ ANY operating personnel. Oh, they have an abundance of managers and supervisors but no OPERATING people. METROLINK has never had a seniority list that I know of. Amtrak does. I worked Metrolink out of San Bernardino and never once saw a Metrolink seniority list. Amtrak yes. Metrolink no.

While you are fully aware of that information, John Q. Public does not and for the media to say the Amtrak Engineer a lot of people are going to be confused.
