Does anyone have any info on the zepher in Elko yesterday concerning the two people who jumped off the train ?
That is totaly weird. Any news in the local papers or TV etc. ?

And whenever you want to know what the local paper or TV stations are (or are not) reporting about something, you always have the option of Googling the place name and "newspaper" and/or "television".

In this case, I found the Elko paper that way and, apparently, they reported nothing.

ELKO NV --

At about 9 p.m., Elko police were called to inspect the eastbound Amtrak train at the station because there were three suspicious suitcases on board. The suitcases were stored in odd places, with names on them that did not match any of the passengers, and they were not claimed by any of the people on board, police said.

When the train stopped, two people reportedly jumped from the back of the train and ran away. They were identified by the passenger manifest, and other passengers said they were the ones who brought the suitcases on board in California, police said.

The Elko Regional Bomb Squad arrived and determined the packages did not contain explosives. However, the suitcases did reportedly contain about 46 pounds of marijuana.

The two people have not been located. The investigation continues in conjunction with the Amtrak police. Charges are expected against the two people.

March 3, 2015 Law enforcement are still looking for two people who allegedly left suspicious baggage on a Amtrak train and ran off Saturday....
